What
does a practical motorcycle test involve?
NEW MOTORCYCLE PRACTICAL TEST FROM 27 APRIL 2009 SPLIT INTO 2 MODULES
MODULE 1 INCUDES
1) At least 2 slow speed manoeuvres, including a slalom.
2) At least 2 manoeuvres carried out at a faster speed (19mph+) using 2nd or 3rd gear including avoiding an obsticle at a minimum speed of 32mph.
3) At least 2 braking excercises, including an emercency stop at a minimum speed of 32mph.
MODULE 2 INCUDES
1)
An eyesight test
2)
You will be asked two machine safety check questions
3)
A road ride for at least 30 minutes with the examiner following you on another motorcycle.
(You will be fitted with 2 way radio equipment, in order to hear the examiners
instructions). This will include normal stops, a hill start and an angle start.
